Tuesday again! Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish and this week’s theme is series I’ve been meaning to start, but haven’t. I must admit, I’m wracking my brains on this one, mostly because I do keep starting series, I just don’t finish them! Let’s see how it goes.
1. A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas.
2. Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas
3. The Percy Jackson Series by Rick Riordan
4. Skulduggery Pleasant by Derek Landy
5. The Winner’s Curse Series by Marie Rutkoski
6. The Selection Series by Kiera Cass
7. The Graceling Realm Series by Kristin Cashore
8. The Star-Touched Queen Series by Roshani Chokshi
9. The Temeraire Series by Naomi Novik
10. The Broken Earth Series by N K Jemisin
I know, I know. There are series on this list that I really should have read by now. Have you read any of these? What would be on your list? Let me know in the comments!
I totally forgot about Skullduggery Pleasant. I listened to the audio for the first one and it was fabulous. It’s another were I couldn’t find the audio for others, and stopped reading it. Alas. Happy reading!

I’ve owned the book for a while, but never read it, so I should probably get on that!

If you have the opportunity to do the audio, I’d suggest that. It’s funnier.

Great list Donna! I totally understand how it was challenging this was– to find series I hadn’t started yet?! In fact, looking at my own list I’m shocked at how challenging it was to find those series. That said, I should probably make a top 25 list of series I’ve started but never finished.
Which of these books do you hope to pick up first?

Yes, the list of series I’ve started and not finished would be a lot easier! I really want to read The Star-Touched Queen but it’s expensive at the moment, so one of the SJM books is probably the most likely because I already own the first in each series.

There are so many series which have come out lately I’ve been waiting for from the library– The Star-Touched Queen is one of them for me. I really want to read it, but I’m 76th in line Baby steps, I guess?
I hope you enjoy the SJM books! I’ve only read book one for Throne of Glass — so many more to go!

76th in line???? Wow! At least people have good taste in books though. 🙂

TOG and The Selection are the only ones I have read so can’t really comment on whether you should have read them or not 🙂
I wouldn’t rush to read The Selection. TOG is pretty good though.

I have the first Selection book thanks to netgalley and I probably should get round to reading it at some point. I know some massive SJM fans, so I’m sure I’ll eventually read both her series. I have the first one of each, so I have no excuse really!

I went to a SJM book signing and it was insane. She definitely has a lot of big fans. I still have ACOTAR to make a start on.

I love Percy Jackson. Skulduggery has been on my shelf a long time. I have a few series I’ve started, and enjoyed, but never completed.

Even my mum has managed to read Percy Jackson, so I really need to catch up! I have a copy of the first Skulduggery signed but I’ve just never got round to reading it. *whispers* I don’t really like Derek Landy very much, and it keeps putting me off!

You’ll love Graceling! I haven’t read the other two books in the series but the first one is so good!

It’s been on my shelf for years, but I really do need to get around to reading it!

The Selection, The Winners curse and Percy Jackson are a few series I have loved. I hope you do too when you read them. A Court of Thorns and Roses is on my TTT this week as well. Happy reading!

Thanks Jamie! Not sure when I’ll get round to them, but hopefully it won’t be too long!

Skulduggery Pleasant and Percy Jackson are two of my favourite series, so I hope you really enjoy them! I also really love the Throne of Glass books. ACOTAR is pretty good, though I like Throne of Glass better. I actually wasn’t keen on Graceling but maybe you’ll get on with it better than I did.

I have no idea when I’ll get round to reading any of them, but I’m looking forward to when I do! I might have a commute to work in a few months’ time, so I’m hoping I’ll get plenty of reading done then!

I actually just read The Selection not to long ago and I loved it! There are a lot of books that are spin off versions of Cinderella and The Selection is one of the, but it was really different from them and I thought it was definentally worth reading. I actually reviewed it in my blog if you would like to check out that post and my blog as well. My blog is called M&C Crazy Book Blog and the website is mcmusicbookblog.wordpress.com
