Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Series I’ve Been Meaning To Start

toptentuesday2

Tuesday again! Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish and this week’s theme is series I’ve been meaning to start, but haven’t. I must admit, I’m wracking my brains on this one, mostly because I do keep starting series, I just don’t finish them! Let’s see how it goes.

1. A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas.

  1. Great list Donna! I totally understand how it was challenging this was– to find series I hadn’t started yet?! In fact, looking at my own list I’m shocked at how challenging it was to find those series. That said, I should probably make a top 25 list of series I’ve started but never finished. O_o

Which of these books do you hope to pick up first?

    1. Yes, the list of series I’ve started and not finished would be a lot easier! I really want to read The Star-Touched Queen but it’s expensive at the moment, so one of the SJM books is probably the most likely because I already own the first in each series.

      1. There are so many series which have come out lately I’ve been waiting for from the library– The Star-Touched Queen is one of them for me. I really want to read it, but I’m 76th in line O_o Baby steps, I guess?

I hope you enjoy the SJM books! I’ve only read book one for Throne of Glass — so many more to go!

    1. I have the first Selection book thanks to netgalley and I probably should get round to reading it at some point. I know some massive SJM fans, so I’m sure I’ll eventually read both her series. I have the first one of each, so I have no excuse really!

    1. Even my mum has managed to read Percy Jackson, so I really need to catch up! I have a copy of the first Skulduggery signed but I’ve just never got round to reading it. *whispers* I don’t really like Derek Landy very much, and it keeps putting me off!

  2. The Selection, The Winners curse and Percy Jackson are a few series I have loved. I hope you do too when you read them. A Court of Thorns and Roses is on my TTT this week as well. Happy reading!

    1. I have no idea when I’ll get round to reading any of them, but I’m looking forward to when I do! I might have a commute to work in a few months’ time, so I’m hoping I’ll get plenty of reading done then!

  3. I actually just read The Selection not to long ago and I loved it! There are a lot of books that are spin off versions of Cinderella and The Selection is one of the, but it was really different from them and I thought it was definentally worth reading. I actually reviewed it in my blog if you would like to check out that post and my blog as well. My blog is called M&C Crazy Book Blog and the website is mcmusicbookblog.wordpress.com
